• Conservation of land and water through production and distribution of indigenous trees in Kilimanjaro.
• Extension services to enhance the capacities of resident in environmental protection matters.
• Promote gender balance in the region by reducing workload (on women and children) of firewood and water collection.
• Create awareness the population with regard to soil erosion.
